The Story of
The FoundHer Hub
After being made redundant in 2023, business veteran Nellie McQuinn decided to create a space for female entrepreneurs to explore their business aspirations. Wanting no other woman to have their personal finances dictated by a corporation's bottom line, Nellie set out to demystify and simplify the whole business process, empowering and educating women to set up their own businesses.
Leaving no stone unturned, The FoundHer Hub presents simple and easy to follow online tutorials with bonus downloads to make every step of setting up and succeeding in business accessible. Our five modules (Branding, Business Admin, Product, Sales and Marketing and the Sales Engine) provide a comprehensive and complete view of the online business process.
Coming soon in 2024 are in-person networking events and an inspirational video series featuring other female founders and their stories.

Nellie started working professionally in television in Australia aged 7. She continued to work in Australia, New Zealand and America in the film and television industry for the next decade. Without any formal qualifications and having just graduated from high school, Nellie moved to London at the age of 17.
Nellie immediately had her first experience in business working for global advertising and entertainment behemoth, Clear Channel / Live Nation aged just 17. As Sales and Marketing Associate, Nellie was part of a team of three, responsible for executing the national marketing strategy across a portfolio of 25 UK theatres. From here, Nellie's passion for business grew and she established her first company, digital media start up Grass Roots Media at the age of 19.
With her team, Nellie and Grass Roots Media became global specialists in creating short form digital content for the children's market, working for brands such as EOne with Peppa Pig, PJ Masks, Lolirock, YoBoHo with HooplaKidz, and El Bebe with Little Baby Bum. The company were also the first company to do a residency at the YouTube studios in London, filming 165 videos in 6 days.
In 2016, Nellie set up her second company, Property 165, a property investment company focusing on the London development market. The company was founded at the behest of Nellie's grandmother (herself an entrepreneur and business owner), who insisted that property was a good investment. The first development that Nellie worked on utilised an innovative strategy with £1 to exchange on the property, requiring minimal capital and kickstarted the company's cash flow with £150K net profit. This deal won Nellie and Property 165 Best New Property Investor at the national Property Investors Awards in 2017 (Nellie being the only female winner of the entire awards that year).
In 2018, media start-up Moonbug Entertainment approached Grass Roots Media for purchase. Nellie's company was absorbed into the start-up and Nellie became a founding member of management, running the production team globally. That team grew to 150+ people in Nellie's time at Moonbug, with Nellie overseeing the global production and Executive Producing all of Moonbug's properties from 2018 - 2023. These include the world's largest preschool brand CoComelon, Blippi, Little Baby Bum and Morphle. With these shows, Nellie has subsequently worked with Disney, Netflix, Amazon Studios, Sky and Audible, amongst others.
In 2023, Nellie left Moonbug. It was at this point that she decided to leave corporate life and go back to her start-up roots. Pledging to never have another corporation dictate her family's financial security, Nellie founded The FoundHer Hub, with the mission of educating, empowering and inspiring other female founders and entrepreneurs to do the same.
